Looking for a referral to MBB firms - thanks! 🤝
Anyone else feeling the same?

PLTR is crushing it the past two weeks.
What is the real deal across MBB, Tier 2, Big4?

And I think this is wonderful. People love a free buck and will clearly do anything for money. Cheaper than the Covid bills
$230B is worth it. Another round of stimulus and related spending (testing, unemployment funds, etc) would cost at least another trillion dollars anyway. And $230B on top of the $4 trillion spent already isn't much more as a %. Even if administering and validating this program costs $100 billion, it would still be worth it.
But if the student debt argument is any indicator, it might be best to give $1k to everyone fully vaccinated (whether vaccinated after passage or back in March) to reward the first movers.

Dang, we’ve spent $4T already? I Have lost track, lol.
I don’t want to reward retrospectively. Let them complain — tough luck. They can get $1k with a booster if needed.
It puts republicans in a bind because their constituents know that they were the ones stopping them from making up to $2k.
I don’t think administering the program would be expensive — just enter a partnership with Amex and send out prepaid debit cards to everyone.

Tangentially related — wealth inequality is so out of control that Bloomberg could get the rest of NY vaccinated at just a fraction of his net worth . This isn’t okay.
Wealth inequality is a made up problem. It exists but it is not a problem

Can’t we just tax the companies that are getting access to all our personal data through the vax chips they implanted in us to pay for this?

You overestimate people - this could be accomplished by offering $100 per person (maybe even 50)

You're right about one thing - you're not following. I'm agreeing with you, my point is an incentive will work (which is your point as well).
Idk about you but this reminds me of negotiating for higher allowance as a kid. The incremental chores had to be worth it because, “why would I pay you for something you should already be doing?”.
Why set the prescience to pay society for things they should do…
I get it.. everyone needs to be vax’d. I hear the unvaxed may be mandated to get tested every week if they work at certain institutions… I like this option better.
Because the government in place was smart enough to contain it before it got out of control… I digress.
I’d get vaccinated for 100,000
Accenture can do both. Give it to us

After Hertz, no way 🍻
Better be pretty confident that if you spend that money the pandemic would be over. Not sure how you would have that confidence given recent data around vaccinated individuals spreading the virus and no certainty around how long the vaccine is effective.

From the article —- Protection against severe illness and hospitalization was 97 percent.
So not 99%.
It doesn’t matter if the vaccine stops working eventually. It’s still better than no vaccine at all. A booster / recurring payments is better than no booster.
