Anyone have advice on getting your foot in the door at Google or Meta for a Sales Role? I’ve only got 3.5 years of experience but have achieved Presidents Club and have had success at 2 “blue chip” organizations.

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. a few years ago my company implemented a "2 pack" to my pay pay plan. Where they would deduct 200 per month to counteract minimum wage increase. Fast forward to now, it's 480 taken From commission.

Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Instead they told me I needed more training and hired me as a Junior account executive at a $50k salary + commission. Today is my 6th month mark and I have done very well. And no talks of a promotion / raise..
