Generally good WLB. Experience can be highly variable depending on the team you’re hired into, first project, and skills you bring in. Someone with experience in cyber or data science, or who served in the military or directly at some other client for a long time, would probably have it best. Unfortunately a lot of the work is essentially staff aug; there are plenty of good pockets though. Can give more insight if you tell us about your friend’s background.
Landmine of staff aug. I've seen people stay for less than a year to lifers. Really depends
Corporate like what we used to call the go team? Those who do the billing and other jobs internal to the business? Mixed if so. Some are great, others like the finance team for billing and the books are a meat grinder
@D1 as a former Boozer, your experience greatly depends on your leadership team and the projects you’re on. I had an incredible time at Booz Allen and would absolutely go back if the opportunity was right
The position is corporate I think. Any insights there?
Booz is awful, total staff aug, lack of upward mobility, lack of diversity, just all around crap
Came from Booz, will never look back, join us ... I tell all the boozers to leave and join D. Deloitte culture is like Booz before it was bought up.
