No you don’t owe your current company anything especially not your loyalty when they would have no hesitation laying you off if reduction in workforce was needed. If you really like where you are, you can still go through the interview process and leverage an offer to get more out of your current company. I would go forward, you don’t want to regret it.
No. It’s a betrayal to yourself not to consider interviewing.
It's only a betrayal if you have agreed not to, or promised to stay with the company for x time. Most likely it's 100% acceptable.
Only if that promise was in writing. Otherwise you owe the company no loyalty.
