I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Good to tell them. If they are the same team and they didn’t even bother to check, the company is a giant red flag.
Recruiters are just the front line. If they get feedback, there is 0 reason they won’t contact you as that is how they get paid.
If you never spoke with the internal recruiter before then it's not a big deal. This is a big company?
I have not spoken to an internal recruiter, but I did interview with the internal team. It’s a big company, yes.
Definitely be honest. The external recruiting company sometimes gets a fee if you're hired through them but you want to shift your contact to the internal recruiter. The external doesn't deserve a cut of your money. From you or from the company.
That makes sense. I don’t if they deserve or not, but they never reached back with the feedback inspite of my follow ups a couple times.
If you recognize the people on the interview team, just say it's great to see them again. You never know what happened, they may have fired the 3rd party recruiter which is why they ghosted you.
I had something similar happen - apparently the external recruiter with which I was working was laid off. So the hiring company couldn't make an offer (they didn't have my contact information) and the recruiting company just never followed up.
I'd keep moving with the internal recruiter.
Contact someone higher up in the recruiting firm. Also, if the interview went well, follow up with the hiring manager, but research the best way to do that. You can find it online.
I believe better tell the truth, because anyways they’re not their knows if you applied in the main website. Feedback maybe quite large amount of applicants. if you are suitable for the position they will offer you
Okay so basically I don't know what we're talking about I'm very tired I'm going to get some sleep here watching Beetlejuice I think we're in the afterlife and this is just like a middle ground type thing if you say somebody's name three time I'll be back hahaha
