Head hunter confirmed McKinsey wants to interview me, but it has been 3 weeks and no word from McKinsey or any additional update from the head hunter besides “they should be reaching out”. Is this normal or should I move on? For background, I’ve been stalling the interview process with a fin tech startup.

The tech job pays 15k more, but from what I can see will be a cluster and super long hours (has EU stakeholders). Maybe a pipe dream, but I want to have a "somewhat" decent wlb while still growing my career toward strategy and finance.

I am having LTI offer letter but the joining date mentioned in that is incorrect. Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects).
