I’m a L9 consultant based out of San Francisco, California who was impacted by recent lay off at Accenture. I wanted to understand as per WARN Act California employees are to be given at least 60 days notice, however I was only given 3 weeks notice. Can I challenge this?

Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some. Hi everyone! First time using this app. I always wondered, how are other IT help desk jobs? I’ll share how mine is.
I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.

Looking to do a solo trip for about a week somewhere that’s driving distance from San Francisco (anything within ~10 hours) this July/August. Looking for some good hiking and food. Last year I did Bend and it was great!

Any recommendations? Would’ve liked to do Yosemite, but pretty hard to find places to stay at this point.
