Work I’d be doing (M&A CDD, Market sizing) is much more in line w/ what i want to do (corporate development) Have a M7 b school acceptance I can fall back on. Is this a stupid move? Does it make sense to give up “prestige” so early?

I bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago at the top of the market. I ended up moving out of state in 2017 and short-selling. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Can they pull the offer due to this? Should I tell them before we advance further?

Any tips for moving up in a medium/large-sized legal department, aside from switching companies? Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?
