Advice on when to start the promotion conversation? I moved internally to a S&T role after 2 years in risk and feel like if I don’t get promoted next year (so after 3 years at the firm), 4 years as an Analyst might look pretty bad... But not sure if it’s a good time to bring it up after 10 months in a new role...Thoughts?

It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
