Where are my monies!?

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Entry level? Doesn't work at all.
I attempted to negotiate for 2-5k more but was told my base offer was on par with the rest of my incoming colleagues. Sooo fail.
agree very much. every level is tough to negotiate unless you have another offer to leverage. if you like your current job and can stick with that, negotiate until you get something worth leaving. vacation is often easier to negotiate up to vs more salary because the hiring manager often doesn't have much budget decision.
Straight out of college I tried to negotiate since I had a higher offer and they increased the sign on bonus, not base salary. Moving to a smaller consulting company soon - and told them their offer was comparable to my current earnings which led to a $5K increase in base. It really helps to have two offers to compare.
I got an outside offer and it lead to a promotion but not much of a raise - they couldn't beat a 25% increase in annual comp right away.
