TC is more than salary. You have annual bonuses, RSU/options, signing bonus, other perks like early maternity leave coverage or extra PTO, etc.
So don’t fret, there’s lots of different levers for the parties to pull to get to a “yes”

The recruiter also advised I tell them about my pregnancy, which I did, but nervous that will be a deal breaker too.
If you are a man and told me you are pregnant, that would absolutely be a deal breaker for me.
You absolutely did the right thing. They have to expect negotiation, which you should do whether they expect it or not. If they hold it against you, their loss. That would be stupid to pass over your best candidate (or one of them) because they mentioned negotiating.
I just went through this and second guessed everything the whole time, but don’t fret over something like this! I know it’s easier said than done lol

So just use that as a floor
I am also pregnant and interviewing and am struggling to figure out when to disclose. During negotiations after offer or after accepting.
