After my last interview, the recruiter reached to say tell me everything went well but they’d have to submit me along with others for approval from leadership. I was thinking that call would have been the moment of truth but that was not the case. Is this standard practice at EY?

I was selected for a l3 role via IJP in the 1st week of may and the hiring manager informed me via email that i had been selected for the role and requested confirmation to proceed with offer letter generation. I didn't hear anything from HM after that. When can I expect to receive an internal offer letter? Should I contact HM to know about the status ? Please provide some insights. TIA :)
