After my role became redundant at the end of 2022, I applied for a Senior CSM role at an Open Banking company. The process was 1) a screening interview with their Talent Acquisition Partner, 2) an interview with the hiring manager, 3) a remote task and 4) a final stage consisting of four 30 minute interviews with various people across the business. I made it to the final stage and was told that there were only 2 other candidates in the running.

Potential new job is flying me across the country….for a one hour interview. Red flag? Or just a formality since they want me to relocate so I can see what it’s about?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?
