D1, we have pretty low attrition rates and I like almost everyone I've met and worked with. Its just anecdotal data so take from it what you will.

It's a behavioral based interview. It's an assessment of personality to maximize the kind of people we want working for us. It helps create high performing teams and avoid hiring people with good resumes, but bad personalities. I thought it was ridiculous too, but now I see how much of an advantage it gives us.

I've gone through this with other firms (received offers). I'm not convinced it proves much. Are there any peer reviewed studies having this up?

Cool thanks. I had never heard of this before!

As other AP 🐠 have mentioned, its behavioral. It helps in building an overall portfolio of a candidate. If you join AP, you can go through your assessment with the psychologist. I was amazed how accurately I could align my traits with the results.

To all the post-9/11 veterans, it’s a somber day that unites us all in the reason we fought. It’s easy to forget - especially with the younger generation having 9/11 be a history lesson rather than something they lived through. The waters became muddy with two wars and politicians, but you all stepped up and did your duty. Thank you all for your service, it’s an honor whether we crossed paths or not.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
