Am I a complete failure? Im 31 years old. I have an MBA from a top school. Couldn’t get into MBB. Did not have the courage to try hard enough. Rolled over like a child at first hint of struggle. Managed to get a senior consultant position at a big 4. BOMBED during my first year. Picked up the pace these past few months but won’t get a promotion after 2 years. My friends got into MBB and I’m not even doing strategy. Does it make sense for me to try at MBB? Am I too old for MBB?

Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I also have my AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert, hoping to eventually get the Data Analytics Cert later. Why is this top Ivy-league school not talked about much in MBA forums? I spoke to some really quality Alums who loved the program. Their hybrid approach with one week residential classes at their suburban flagship campus Ithaca, and weekend classes at Cornell Tech in NYC sounds very appealing for Tech freaks like me at least.

I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

Associates - how do you deal with terrible analysts?

Confronted client today about partner forcing us to travel while client site has travel restrictions. As a result is team is remote next week. Counting down days till I get rolled off/fired now lol

M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.

One of my friend who is a doctor & is an international med graduate. He passed his United States Medical Licensing Exams with above average scores. He has applied fr the match last yr & was nt able to match. Match process costs around USD10k; this year he is applying again after borrowing funds frm different sources bt he is under tremendous pressure to get match. I feel his pain as he has studied for 10+ yrs and is struggling to match nw. I m nt sure hw I can help
