Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

Are you paying attention at what’s happening in the US? I am serious when I say you may have a better life in Europe or your home country. Most h1bs in the US are from India, so if my assumption is correct that you’re from India, you and your future children will have a brighter future there than here.
Not an Indian! I am from a developed country if this helps
I agree with Nerf. I'm in the US, currently looking to move to Europe. It's getting very dangerous here. From MN and it has been crazy. I understand that the pay may be better here but I am willing to get a 60% pay cut to get out of here. I am making mid $100s.
If you posted this years ago I would say there are a lot of opportunities here. The pay is decent and lots of good companies. But now is not the time. I am also a citizen and even that doesn't even matter nowadays. We can only hope it ends soon but it doesn't look like that. He will be here till 2028.
Been on L1B for the last 3.5 years. You are right re green card timeline; that said, you can get H1B after you moved to the states - I won it last year, but remained on L because otherwise my wife would’ve lost her work permit
Forgot about that new 100k part (not sure how it will affect me if Im already in US on L1)
Intrresting that your firm offerrd you to aolly to H1B first thought comoanies usually try to lock you down in L and exploit as much as they can.
Super interesting story of yours. Do you wish you could move out of BCG? Several yrars there sound exhausting and feels like you couldve pulled the move if you really wanted (whether its in-states opp willing to sponsor you and wait or non US opp) curious what makes you stay
L1A to EB1c is the way to go OP
I did L1A to EB1c myself, and it was a very straightforward process, because the requirements for both categories are virtually the same. I would be cautious about the « L1B to L1A to EB1c » road as one of the key criteria (being a manager outside of the US) and how it is applied / understood by USCIS doesn’t feel that consistent. Better to check in with your lawyers OP :)
L1B itself does not preclude you from EB1. L1A certainly helps with evidence.
Hey SM, you sound like an expert. Thanks a lot
Do you think if I making L1a case would have some wiggleroom? I also realized my next best bet would be either L1B to H1B or EB2
Not sure if youve been in the process ,but would love to DM you if you are wiling to chat
