Am i screwed if I get L1b?

I am.currently talking to big 4 US after getting offer (im at europe big4)

I am not a manager but I have strong evidence where i managed hiring ppl in my practice,client engagement as an EM equivalent role (formerly endorsed), and project budget planning

American HR want to put me into L1B even thought I already have full evidence.
It seems like L1B is much longer path to green card application (5-7yrs) and if Im laid off im done.
Am i screwed? Can i apply to H1B?
