Do you have stock / equity? If not, then it might not matter much, at least in the short term.
Most acquisitions tend to lead to some “optimization” / downsizing of some sort. So expect some sort of “right-sizing” in 12 to 24 months as well.
If you haven’t already polished up your resume, it couldn’t hurt.
Good. It means your company is of value to another so much so they are willing to buy it entirely.
Positive outcome but since the company is acquiring yours there isn’t much money to spend for raises immediately.
Reorganizations and layoffs are typical but they tend to do that more at higher levels than lower ones. You should be fine.
Too many variables to know if it will be a good or bad thing for you specifically but it typically depends on the deal hypothesis and where the value in the company and acquiring synergies are.
I’ve been through acquisitions I was involved in yet barely noticed where others have led to my exit as it was clear my departments would be shuttered in favor of the new org structure.
