Gather your wins with data and tie them to business outcomes. A simple doc that highlights revenue impact, retention success, and client feedback can go a long way. Framing it as your value to the team—not just your effort—can make the ask feel justified, not boastful.
Let the numbers do the talking. There's nothing braggadocious about reporting results you worked hard for. Do a simple YoY comparison to make it easy for your company to see the value you're providing.
always focus on the impact you’ve had: “I managed 11 accounts, expanded three, and drove $180K in upsell revenue, which contributed to the overall growth of the team,” blah blah blah. Keep it about results and the value you bring, not just the numbers.
Consider incorporating intangible anecdotes, such as a memorable client interaction where they expressed their appreciation for the team and the agency relationship. Highlight moments when a teammate was energized by one of the new projects or scopes of work. Focus on the synergy between clients and the team—this is where the real power lies. By framing the narrative with the client first, the agency second, and yourself third, you create a compelling picture of collaboration and success. This approach allows the data to stand on its own as confirmation that you understand its significance across the board.
Good luck.
