Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

Very much depends on the country in Europe.. happy to provide some insights if you can share some more details on countries and cities you are considering
So.. the thing with Italy is that you’ll be taxed only on 30% of your salary as you are a foreigner coming into the country - so 70% of your salary will be tax free for 10yrs! Make sure you are enrolled on that by HR. So to put simply, if you’re after money, good healthcare and style of life, there’s no other country in Europe that’ll give you a higher net income than Italy. That said expect people to be old school and somewhat close minded when it comes to new ways of doing things particularly with clients - same applies to Spain and Portugal. I would say a base salary of 125,000€ for Italy would be great ! I doubt you’d earn as much in Spain and Portugal as they are weaker economies, though they are much cheaper to live in.. especially Portugal! Night life is better in Spain by a long shot. Hope this was somewhat helpful
