I’m a NYS paralegal and I work at a remote/work from home law firm based out of West Palm Beach, Florida. They are currently hiring for a construction defense paralegal for the Florida team. The practice has grown over the years and has recently hired many attorneys and paralegal throughout the east coast “offices”. Google Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad. The salary is not what it should be (for NY) but it’s decent and it’s a great firm to work for.
I’ve applied to at least 60 remote paralegal roles during the past two years and have not heard back from a single one
… I should add I have 20 years of experience with an Am Law 50 firm
There have been articles about companies posting ghost jobs, it seems to be fairly common in some fields. The job listings can make it seem like a company is doing well and hiring people, when the opposite may be true. I'm not sure if law firms would be doing the same, but at this point nothing would surprise me. It's also possible they're just stockpiling resumes for future reference.

"companies posting ghost jobs," they should be repremanded for that. It brings unneeded stress upon who do not have a very good grasp on how to be stress free. Understandably so, because there is a lot at stack when it comes to being unemployed.
But that is just wishing upon a star which never produces, lol.

No. There isn't really much that can be done about that. Unfortunately, we can't do a long arm and force them to answer. However, what you can do is send emails every day until they do answer.
My recommendation for any remote job is to apply as soon as it is posted. I’ve heard some roles get hundreds or even thousands of applicants within a few days. Be first to apply and give yourself an opportunity to be seen.
The firms that I know that offer solid remote do not post positions saying that. Actually they all have a specific recruitment agency they work with and trust. The agency then weeds out the ones who won't cut it.
