McKinsey & Company Hey folks!
Was wondering what sort of life sciences projects does usually the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company take on?
Commercial, access and pricing, M&A, transformation, implementation? (all of them perhaps?)
Basically, what would someone with an LS background be mainly working on in these firms on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks!

Some definitions to help in your journey:
- Secondment: temporarily taking a role with a company or non-prof, typically for a year and typically a BCG client
- Internal secondment: As above but for an internal BCG program like CEO Ambassador, Bruce Henderson Institute, or Innovation Center
- Cross office staffing (CoS): working in another system (eg West Coast be Great Lakes) or regions (eg NAMR vs WESA) for a particular project
- Temp transfer: 6-18 month transfer to another office, typically in a different region
- Permanent transfer: just what it sounds like. One way ticket.
- Ambassador: One of several highly structured programs,l with set application cycles that offer the chance to work outside of your region for a year. Global Ambassador, PA Ambassador, and Associate Abroad all fall into this category. For a while we also offered an Africa Ambassador program (can’t remember the name) but not sure if it’s still running. These include more favorable financial terms than temp transfer in terms of salary equalization, housing assistance, and relo support
