Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

I used to do CPS, and I will say that if the work culture is good and the coworkers/supervision are good, it’s definitely worth it. Esp if you know you can handle the type of work. But if the other staff are anything less than supportive or competent, not worth it. It adds so much frustration and stress to an already difficult job.
Are people usually able to request a transfer to another school or you would need to apply to a new school?
I’m a CPS investigator in TX. I’ve been an LMSW many years but TX doesn’t require licensure to work at CPS. They don’t even require a college degree anymore because of the high caseloads and turnover and too few workers.
Benefits are exceptional, including $0 monthly premium for health insurance. Starting pay is approx 48k-52k so for an entry level position, it’s good pay. If you’re licensed (especially at the MSW level) and have experience, pay is low. I took a huge pay cut and it hasn’t been worth it yet. Working OT is a must and work/life balance isn’t supported.
