I game with my 11 year old son for an hour or so at least 3-4 nights a week. It's a bonding thing for us. I make up for it by burning the midnight oil on school and work stuff, but it's totally worth it. I'm a lifelong gamer since the 80s, but don't have time to play everything I'd like.... right now it's all about that new LEGO Star Wars game with my little man, just like we did 6 or 7 years ago when he was tiny. :)
You definitely need a balance!! Can't take care of loved ones as well if you aren't in the right state of mind, and you need your own time to get there.
I love gaming with my kid, it’s when she opens up and talks more about what’s going on in her life. It’s the best! We’ve been doing that since she was little.
Currently, no! But I hope when my kids are a bit older, I'll have time to. I've given up for now.
No
