Any idea what a junior accounts role at Ariad Communications would pay in Toronto?

Are cover letters important if they don’t ask for one? There are so many job postings and applicants I can’t tell if they would be beneficial to show effort or just a waste of time to write with how little time I assume people are looking at applications with the mass hiring going on. If I should be writing one, any advice how to format?

5th September is my last working day at Infosys. Yoe=4+ yrs

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Should i join KPMG?

I knew that MBB and other consulting firms rarely ever negotiate salary with new grads, so I didn't with Capital One as well. Was that a mistake? I got offer from Deloitte USI with 13.5 LPA Fixed. ( 50 % hike from my current CTC) and I have accepted the offer. YOE 5 . Later, I got another offer with 16 LPA from cognizant
I just tried to negotiate the Deloitte offer but Recruiter told me that this is a maximum hike(50 %)as per their budget and the offer cannot be modified once it is accepted.

Is it acceptable? I was thinking to join in Deloitte.
Please help me find the right decision (Deloitte USI or Cognizant)

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. So my fiancé and I are having a microwedding in Rocky Mountain National Park next year, and we’re working with an elopement planner.
She sent over a sample ceremony (intro, sweet poems + passages to be read, and example vows), and we read through it last night. I was reading it out loud while my fiancé made dinner, and it just hit me that this is really happening. I’m just really happy that I found someone who is willing to take a vow to spend his life with me and I’m so excited for that day :)

What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? Or can I actually find a senior PMM role that allows a bit more room to breathe?
