I’m an Internet Marketing expert (full scale branding, market research, website, SEO, social...) but new to consulting. Need advice on how to structure my fees/rates/retainer. Advice?

We train for this. And have templates. You should be at 3-5k/mo for your skill set and wisdom you bring. Just be sure to attach it to their revenue goals. (Otherwise you’re lumped in as a cost they can easily cut) good luck!

Age old question: Is it appropriate to have a beard (just longer than scruff) as a consultant? I prefer to have a beard but it’s rare to see another consultant that wears one.

Do partners care about their employees? I felt a little disheartened when I did not get proper response on my concerns from a partner with whom I have worked for more than 8 years now. In my check ins he always say I m doing great but does not support during year ends. Its my 4 yr as Sr con and I have no trust if I get promoted this year or not. I have thought of moving out from the firm but not sure if this is just me taking this too personal. Suggestions???
