Curious to hear what others think too.

I have 10 years of industry experience (4 being a CFP) and work in a large city area. Expect the avg. base to range from 70-80k (maybe 90-100k top end?) + bonus

“Reasonable” is very subjective and varies by firm. Bonuses for a support role typically revolve around AUM growth I’d be curious: Are you involved in any business development activities? Have you brought in (or helped bring in) new clients? Has your firm experienced organic AUM growth?

I would think $75-100,000 plus bonus.

Hi. Without your own clients it’s 80-100k range.

need advice. I have been working in an interim role as a portfolio manager. I was promised that the role would be mine. However, after doing the job for 2 months, I have been advised that we might not get the funding for the role and I might not get the raise and the title but my responsibilities will be the same. Anyone else ever feel like a completely inadequate consultant? I'm struggling with performance quality on this project because I just feel dumb and it demotivates me to really strive to improve. Possibly also impacted by burnout because I performed well on other engagements and enjoyed my teams more. Just not sure where to go from here to get where I need to be.

I woke up at 3 AM with Sunday scaries despite being off this week. Decided to look back at pictures/quotes I’ve taken screenshots of over the years and have determined I’ve been stagnant in life for a solid 3-4 years. Every year around now I start looking to leave but never do because industry seems boring. Any advice? 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Would you be honest or just put something like work life balance. I have worked with really shitty people. It would be several. Like base compensation, skills not fully utilized, firm culture, communication issues, etc

Facebook has followed Google in making vaccination mandatory to work in person at the office. More companies will likely follow suit.
