Freelancers: what are the pros of freelancing vs a full time role?

Hi fish fam - I was offered a lower title with an amazing pay. What are the downsides of accepting this? I’m thinking in terms of pay bump during eventual promotion, exit opps, optics on resume etc

Needing words of encouragement from people they are in consulting. It took me months of applying for consulting jobs, hundreds of rejections, before I got my first consulting job. I got laid off. Now I am having the same difficulty in finding a job.Rejections from every consulting firm, even firms that are still hiring during these times. Consulting is what I want to do. I did not give up when I was looking for a consulting job. I am not going to give up on consulting. Hope to find another job.

Thoughts on Dentsu Aegis? I've received an offer for a role (promotion) and thinking about whether it is a sound move - especially in this environment. They went through furloughs and pay cuts in April due to COVID. I'd be making the move from EY which is a great company to work with - but there is such a long line up to get a promotion, and for roles I've interviewed for internally I get the good ole - you were awesome and it was rly close, but someone was just a better fit.
