Any real estate book recommendations for a n00b?

This might be the wrong place to ask but is getting a car worth it?

I think it’ll somewhat improve QOL but with parking, insurance, gas and financing costs I’m not sure spending almost 1K/month is a good idea at 22.

The other problem is that used cars are so damn expensive right now so I can’t just buy a used mx5 for 5-10K

How long does it take to make at least $300k per year if you are in-house?

Anyone feels like they are earning more, spending more and worrying more?

4th year associate, 200k student loans—think I’ll be able to get a mortgage even with loans? Looking at a place for 450k. I have 3.5 years public interest work that counts towards PLSF and I plan on going back to government so I really don’t care to pay it down.

How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I would like to learn more about development and real estate. Can anyone recommend any books or courses that you think are informative. Eventually I would like to own a few apartment buildings, but I know there is a lot I need to learn 1st. Any advice appreciated. 

In process of buying a house, both my surveyor and specialist damp contractor found damp under kitchen tiles (In the grout) & in skirting boards and up one wall. Sellers had work done initially in 2014 on the wall only(with garuntee) & their company has visited and assured there is no damp… what is next best course of action, get another damp specialist to examine independently of other reports? I don’t trust them….. (U.K. Victorian terrace, damp is in the kitchen extension built circa. 15 y/o)

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree.
