Where ya at?!? Lots of good places in NY/LA/Chicago UCB/Second City / IO (of it’s still around) Coldtowne theater (Austin) Even during pandemic there are online sketch writing classes. I don’t know if I’d do improv over zoom, but that’s just me.

Cool- if it’s LA, then yeah for sketch I’d check out UCB. There are also other less competitive places (pack theater to name one) that are great for getting started and more stage time if that’s something you’re interested in.

Honestly just start writing shit. Watch Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall, Aunty Donna, SNL (well, maybe not that last one). Read the onion, clickhole, reductress, etc. I took a sketch writing class at second city and it’s definitely a good entry point if you have zero experience but they charge out the nose and they’re very dogmatic in their approach to comedy. No one can teach you to be funny. But reps and studying the greats (again, Mr. Show *chefs kiss*) can really help.

Second City for sure. A spectacular place for writers especially, but also any creative. Definitely the most legendary place to choose from.

Non-iphone users, what is your smart watch of choice? I have a Google Pixel and while Google does not have their own smart watch, they provide software to plenty of companies so there's a lot to consider.
