Part of CPM PM practice. Interviews are very friendly; they just want to see you have the right experience, skill set and fit. Don't oversell your experience, brush up on PM fundamentals (risk vs issue, comms, milestones, etc) and be willing to travel. Good luck.
Thanks! Really appreciate it, I sit for a PMP boot camp prior to the interview so that should be perfect.
Interviewed few weeks ago for a position in advisory (federal) and it was basically a conversation about myself and what was written on my resume. The managers I met with were very friendly and professional.
I'd beware of the recruiters though. I got a phone call a couple days after my interview, and the recruiter told me that my interviews went very well and that I'd be receiving an offer in the coming days. We negotiated a salary and everything during this phone call. A week later, the same recruiter emailed me and told me there were no available positions and would no longer be extending an offer. Didn't even bother calling me to explain anything. I hope you have a better experience.
Oh goodness. Thx for the heads up!
