This! A back to the future 80’s/60’s themed prom party. Cover all your bases.

Penguins. Like those ones that got to tour their empty aquarium.

Will it even be open? I wouldn't put down a deposit at this point

Too late on the deposit. Might as well plan as though we are just in case? Would rather be ahead than behind.

Seafood gumbo

Forrest Gump theme. Everyone comes dressed as an historical figure from the movie. Then everyone eats shrimp in front of the fish to scare them into thinking they are next.

Lol

Hi everyone. I was given a verbal offer after some negotiation and I’m comfortable with the salary. There was no real discussion about anything other than salary. When the written offer arrives, have you had any success negotiating PTO, health insurance, retirement ect.? Thanks!

If you were in a private company assistant controller position being offered $10k more to switch over to public and much better PTO days and fully remote as opposed to an in office position that I’m currently at in a Real estate growing company. Would u do the switch back to public (left public just recently)?

Just wanted to brag a little. This may not be much for some but I’m super excited. I graduated with a B.A in chemistry July 2022 and I start my job this Monday with a salary of 60K! This is the most money I’ve ever made 😱😱. Really proud of myself even though I know some people would rather make more. I’m hoping to hit 100K within 3-4 years. Don’t give up recent grads!!

Has anyone found a good CPE lecture or presentation on analyzing SOC-1s and mapping to controls?

I keep watching Schitt's Creek reruns now and then. It makes me feel warm and mushy, but also super lonely. So tired of being perpetually single. I know it's been posted about here a bunch of times before but it still sucks. Venting and knowing you're not alone, helps a tiny bit. =) Also does anybody else thing Patrick is essentially just a 'too good to be true' fantasy boyfriend Dan Levy dreamed up and put on the show?
