Any thoughts on an MD role vs a Principal role at KPMG vs Deloitte in a consulting capacity?

I work in a corp environment & wondering what others think about this -

I have a large team and after me, I have a supervisor and a manager who my supervisor reports to. The manager recently got promoted to director & my boss is likely to take her role within the next 6 mos.

I was promoted in aug and wondering if it’s crazy to ask for another promo after my boss gets manager. This wouldn’t be for 6-12mos & I will be in my role for close to a year.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? I have successfully cleared the Skill 1 and Skill 2 interview rounds and was now expecting that the next would be the HR round.
I have been mailed that there is there is a third round before the HR round that is going to conducted the next week.
Skill 1: Pure Technical
Skill 2: Semi Technical + Managerial

What you I be expecting in this third round?

Need some advice: I currently do corp dev and FP&A for a smaller company and just got an offer for about double my salary at a F200 company. The catch is I would no longer be doing corp dev, just FP&A. My goal is eventually to crack into ib, do you think I should take the job and the pay bump or stay at my current role and try to lateral in to ib.
