I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Recently I had an interview for the Cloud Lead position, also done with all-round of interview including technical and HR salary discussion but after 1.5 week not received any update from HR about offer letter release or to share document. any idea how much time would HR take after salary negotiation to process with next step ?

I jad an interview on 2nd August, 2022 and on 17th August, 2022. I received an email stating that interviewer is moving up your profile and contact a person email id for further information.
Since that day I haven't heard anything from the HR. I had called HR several times but no response from calls as well as mails too.
Anyone also faced this situation?
Please suggest me what to do as I have my last day in existing company nearby in 20 days

Just wanted to vent- I work for Big 4. Applied for role that seemed really interesting. Weeks pass. No reply. SO who works at MBB and did not apply gets a message for same role: “want an interview?”😞

Anyone here counsel for a parent company with a lot of subsidiaries but the parent company’s legal department is really really small? I’m wondering if a small legal department for a large company is more of a pro or con? On one hand I suspect it’s less organized, on the other it might be a great leadership opportunity. Any insight? Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…
