Hey CA Ladies! I am planning a solo trip to CA next month. Flying into LA and renting a car. Any suggestions on a reasonable 2-3 cities to visit while there? I am there for 2 weeks total. I was thinking maybe start in LA then visit San Diego or Santa Monica? I have friends in SF but wondering if that's too far? It's been almost 10 yrs since I've gone. Open to any/all suggestions. I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. Should I take a project engineering at ASML? I work in semiconductors at ibm as a hardware guy. I was interested in machine learning and thought about getting a masters in computer science but, a recruiter hit me up for a PMish role at ASML. It’s in San Diego. I now conflicted between a good offer and a potential interest in another field all together.

I need a new job but it seems that the job market in SAn Diego is pretty abysmal. I want to leave but only to something better. 😩

Need advise, currently working in a specialized industry strategy consulting boutique, where majority of the work seems to be CDD n M&A focused. In talks with Monitor Deloitte for Director role, strategy & design but generalist role. My current setup while specialized is a very small firm where the partners have a top-down management style, while I have been culturally more accustomed to bigger consulting firms.
