Recently laid off from Sr. Consultant role in energy in Houston. 4 years exp in supply chain/procurement and 2 in consulting (mainly tech PM work aka scrum). Have my MBA and PSM 1 cert. I know opportunities are far and few between right now, but looking for either energy or supply chain consulting role. Open to travel once resumed. If anyone is aware of a need, I'd appreciate the help!
Hi everyone, for those of you who are deciding to pursue an MBA or already have one, what lead you to that decision? Currently debating if it’s the route I should go at this time in my career and if it would open any doors down the road. Really just don’t know what I don’t know at the moment. For reference, I have 3 YOE, a non MBA masters, and just paid off my student loans. Appreciate any insight.

Hi everyone! We'd love to host more podcasts, and would love to get your input on what you're most interested in exploring. I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

I have taken two sections of the CPA exam through California. Due to the 9 month window, I only applied for two sections initially. I just mailed my $50 reapp payment to the CBA. How long does it take to get re-approved so that I can schedule the last two sections ASAP? Thanks!
Hi all, has anyone in supply chain taken one of the certification exams? (CPSM, CPSD, CSCP) Does it help in any way besides refreshing contents about supply chain? I was thinking might be a good way to strengthen my resume (most of my career in investment analysis) but not really sure if it really brings that much value. Any insights appreciated. #supplychain #cpsm #cpsd #cscp #education #certifications
I’m thinking about doing an MS in Analytics/data science online and part-time during my MBA. Good idea or spreading myself too thin?
Apologies if this was already asked but what is the tuition reimbursement for MBB? Accenture gives you $100k. I heard MBB covers it in full and gives you a reduced salary during those 2 years.
Which non-SWE roles are worth it at FAANG in terms of pay? Will any pay better than MBB?
LBS vs CBS? For context: Sponsored MBB (US office, non-NYC). Want a big city school. Could potentially stay behind in NYC after but not married to it (odds go up for staying in the broader Northeast). Probably wouldn’t stay in London unless I had a really compelling reason. Somewhat interested in tech but that’s not why I’m going to b-school. Given all that: Mainly interested in commentary on the school experiences themselves!
Any tips for asking for a raise? Additionally, any insight in compensation for change management in boutique consulting?

I have a friend interviewing at Deloitte with 7 years of industry experience + MBA. They told him they’ll interview for him as a Consultant and if he does well level him up to SC. Any tips on what they look for during SC interviews vs. C (I interviewed as a C so I don’t really know)
