Looking for some specific info on Short Term Disability eligibility at EY. I would like to accept an offer, but won’t be eligible for 16-wk parental leave before 1 yr of tenure. This is an important detail for me since I am expecting this year. I have received in email that for parents who have a child *before* 1 year, that they are eligible for STD after 3 mnths at 100% for 6 weeks (+3weeks of approved PTO). is there fine print that pregnancy is a ‘pre-existing condition’ and I’d be denied?

Denmark, Norway and Sweden late June early July. Friendly people mostly English speaking and amazing things to see. Oh yeah and about 20 hours of daylight at that time of year...
National parks! We did the Grand Canyon, Arches, and Yellowstone one summer when the kids were those ages.
New Zealand then. Milford Sound. Helihiking a glacier (before they’re all gone in 10 years). Queenstown is a hotbed of outdoor sports year round. Kiwi birds. Plus all of the Lord of the Rings locations. Rented a car and spent two weeks just in the South Island. Something for everyone
Tanzania + Zanzibar would be a fun Africa safari option for kids that age.
I would take to a third world country (not India) to show what real problems are like and how far money can go.

I need guidance too. Live in SF Bay area. What are good drivable locations within 3-4 hours. No Disney.
Yeah, Australia is awesome. We went there in December, 2016. I should have added that to the list.
Thanks for the recommendations so far. Anyone have thoughts on Portugal, Spain, an African safari, Bangkok?
