I saw someone say that if the resort fee includes WiFi or something else that you should get for free because of your status then you can get it partially or fully removed.

Bonvoy rules say they need to provide an alternate amenity for any amenities that are already included with your elite status such as wifi. If it’s a low fee, I’ve generally just had them completely remove it.
