Hi All, looking for some ideas to create a 30 60 90 for a 2nd round interview. The role is a Channel Management/ Development role for a single partner that is a communications provider. The partner has business in SMB, Enterprise, and Pub Sector.

I'm trying to find something unique/ forward thinking that is different from what is typically said. Hopefully some ideas how to engage with the partner leadership to bring value

Why does it seem so hard to get to the Senior Executive Service level in government? I see so many inexperienced people getting hired into SES and then m asking a mess of things but I can’t even get an interview. What is the secret that I am missing?

How hard can it be for an international student to land a job in tech with a BS in Computer Science? I’m in my senior year and my resume is not too weak, and I can’t find even a programming internship.. After applying for a lot of companies for internships and never got any responses back, I’m now quite panicked about the whole job situation because (hopefully) I’ll be graduating next semester (12/2022). Is there any professionals here so that I can have them take a look on my resume? Thanks!

Anyone regret jumping to industry after they stuck it out til manager in PA? Interviewing for roles that seem exciting in industry but am starting to doubt myself

OK folks, I'm kind of pissed. I interviewed with a dream company, made it to 6 interviews (all the way up to VP). Weeks later the recruiting manager shares they went with someone internally, no feedback. Today I see the same position being promoted. Do I pursue the same role or take this as a sign that I wasnt a good fit after all and let it go?

What is the decision-making process like after MBB (more specifically in BCG and Bain) final round interviews? Can one or two partners overrule another or advocate for you strongly to sway another person’s opinion? Completed my interviews and feel like I did stronger in one than in the other and nervous about hearing back lol

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

I requested pto, but basically was told that it is not appropriate to use pto in busy season. I’ve worked as a Histocompatibility technologist at a large company for 10 years. I am lead tech now and I know that I am underpaid and have been informed that no matter what extra degrees or certifications I obtain would end in a raise. I am an ASCP certified med tech and ACHI certified Histocompatibility specialist with a bachelors in clinical laboratory science. I’m tired of being undervalued. Am I being too judgmental? During the interview process I ask questions that help me identify culture. During my recent interview I directly asked “How would you describe your culture?”, and it was described as “work hard, play hard”. I expected a much more meaningful reply. Thoughts?

I joined a banking company post MBA from one of the top B school of India. However, the job does not aligns with my interest. I'm more inclined towards tech roles and I have been applying externally for product manager role for last 4 months. New joiner are not allowed to switch to other roles internally till they complete 2 years.
But, I'm not getting shortlists as most of the PM/APM roles requires prior PM experience. Can anyone please let me know what to do in such a situation.

I am wondering if Product Management roles in India are only subjected to very limited aspects of the overall role. In my experience, companies mostly want Product Managers to be great at building and executing Roadmaps/Features and liaising with multiple stakeholders. JDs ask for a whole lot of skillsets ranging from Competitive Analysis to pricing to Sales support to what not but I just wonder if these skills are actually required. Any views here.
