Anybody use the Boson practice exams to prep for CISSP? Is it worth it?

100% worth it. Harder than the real exam imo

like

It was good practice. Be sure to get through all the questions. It’s not similar to the exam but helps you practice how to think about the answers to choose

like

Much more technical than actual exam. But don’t fell down if do not get good scores. I passed the actual exam with 100 questions, but never scored more than 700 in Boson

How would you suggest to prep for CISSP exam? I’m already a CISA, and AWS CCP. Also not the most technical person (accounting background), but know more than most working in IT audit.

you would start from scratch. Read the Reddit forums. CISA and AWS CCP is so much easier compared to the CISSP (at least in my opinion when I took those 2 certs)

Def worth it. Super helpful explanations

Should I keep my new job or boomerang back to my old job? The new job pays 50K more base, 25K more bonus and I get 40K a year consulting for the old job so around 115K difference in cash (not counting equity).

So why even consider going back to the old job? The new job keeps me busy 12+ hours a day while the old job is a coast at 1-2 hours a day max.

My idea is not to enjoy the free time and sit on my *ss, but to figure out side gigs, passive income streams or even start a startup. (more)

I am currently a year from finishing my PhD and was looking at VC's as a career path because I like to do meta-analysis of different climate change techs. I networked with VCs and one of them was receptive but didn't have the budget currently for a full time hire. They said they'd be interested in working with me to do a research paper over the coming semester, and was wondering if I could leverage this into a full time offer?

Is a white paper with a VC going to be attractive on my CV?

Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.

Can I change to management side without risking my job .
