Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

They are a customer of ours (we are a sub). Seems like a good bunch. Smart and creative. Their engineers appear to travel way more than normal engineers do about half of the time), so I don’t know what the consultant life is like (gotta be heavy). NYC office is incredible, Boston office is a bit dingy. The CEO is a real sharp guy and they seem to be well integrated into the BCG culture as a whole. They’re also pretty close with BCG digital ventures from what I can tell.
They bought a firm in PA and they seem to be the main source of talent for now Not sure how helpful any of this is but hope it’s a bit helpful.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it so far and hope I’m here for the long haul. I came from a Tier 2 (SI/Big 4) and the quality of life increase has been incredible in every facet. If you can get an offer letter, You’d be a fool not to take it... and i say that because i second guessed myself in the same position. The grass is definitely greener, hope to see you here!
Not sure about experience of others, my headhunter was transparent about the long interview process when he first reached out. For me it was about 4 months total from when I was pinged on LinkedIn to getting offer in hand, rather smooth and people I’ve met are def BCG sharp, some are equally technical as well and grilled me on technical cases. Group is still small so many misconceptions but learned from CEO that growth is yuuuge. Joining from B4 soon.
Both huge jump and top notch benefits, work should be a lot more interesting than B4 gigs because of much higher rates, I don’t think any client will pay this kind of rate for a year of ERP implementation or boring pmo.
We’re basically subcontractors to BCG on tech gigs for now. Same hours, same expectations.
It’s a painful, almost year long process with a similar but technically-oriented process
