Anyone able to transition out of account management to another position in marketing? I’m feeling burnt out from years in client services and want to explore other parts of marketing while still making somewhat of a lateral move. Any advice?

Question for ex-consulting (esp MBB) folks who landed up at Google - are you happy with the decision you took? Why / why not? I'm an MBB Consultant with an offer for a role in Strat Ops in another country. Also evaluating a similar role in a fast growing, publicly lister SaaS company closer to home - faster growth, more flex to work remotely. Want to understand if consulting folks are happy with Google overall, despite a potentially slower / more open ended growth path.
