I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Are you saying leadership seminars don't work?!?!

Can someone refer me to MS?

It’ll most likely be a 1-1 session with a sales rep, when you decline they’ll act pissed off. But by then it’ll be too late :) I did it once and after they wrapped up I told them that, I travel 200 days a year and have enough loyalty points to last years. They were like why did you sign up for this, I just smirked and said coz it’s free money
Oops, already paid the $ for the promo offer. $150 for 3 nights in vegas, with $200 rebate for a future booking and 5k points.
I own and HGV. We did the promo visit two times. First time was purely recon, waited a year and they sent another invite so we went in prepared.
When you get there they will put you in a room with snacks and drinks, could be 10 people could be 20, no way to tell. They will introduce you to your sales rep and he/she will ask you about your travel patterns and interests. Then they will put you in a room for a short video with all the other people and bring up a sales person that is also an owner, he or she came to work there because their ownership experience was so great or they have a passion for helping people realize their travel dreams.
Then you go 1:1 with the sales person to their desk, they will go through all the benefits and levels of ownership. They will ask you for your dream vacation spot, then they will show you how many points you need to go to that spot for a week and that is where the games begin.
Make no mistake, their goal is to get you to sign on the bottom line and if you leave the deal evaporates. If you decide this is something you want, ask for the moon, they will give away the whole house to get you to sign on the dotted line, they want the reoccurring income. So asking for and getting 10,000 bonus points is an easy approval, ask for the moon three times and make them go to the supervisor at least twice. You get one shot at them, make it count.
Make them find you the lowest tax and HOA location they have in inventory. They can show you that on the iPad. A week in Orlando, Vegas and Myrtle Beach may all have the same points value but the HOA and TAXes could be very different.
You can also buy alternating years, if they sense you are close to buying but balking at the upfront cost, they will cut that in half and offer you odd/even year membership. You get points every other year and your expenses are reduced up front.
Good Luck.
We are in year 2: We, we paid cash up front, no financing but the fees are a little more than I expected and they never go down. We book our trips as soon as the booking window opens for the location and dates we want to travel, 6 to 9 months out. If we don't book it when the window opens the choices get real slim, real fast.
