Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

Amazon folks - need to reschedule an inteview due to an unforeseen work commitment. Wondering if it's going to look bad/impact the interviewing chances if I were to ask for a reschedule? It's taken months of applying to get one so don't want to jeopardize but the current job committment is going to be difficult to get out of (unless I call in sick). Recommendations?

I’m with you. I want to look for a new job, but then when people ask me what I want to do, I’m not sure either. Gotta figure it out, but I don’t know how. Feeling lost
Honestly, I’m still pretty lost and definitely unfulfilled but I’m trying to do things I enjoy in my career to make it less miserable. I like to help others and help recruit talent, I also love planning socials so that’s what I’m trying to do. I’m using this job as a launching pad for my career as a whole by learning as much as I can and using the learning resources my company provides. Also, I know everyone says this but “networking” or just talking to people really does help!
I’m with you. I think on surface most of us young professionals have to seem like we have it figured out, but in reality, we don’t. Just ride the wave, explore different opportunities, and trust the process. That’s what I’m trying to do.
I invite to look into truthfully and thoroughly look into Islam, has changed my life and the lives of many others I know who have also accepted it recently. A feeling of true self contentment and happiness that no successful career can replace. Find good Muslim sources, read the Quran, it'll help you find your inner peace, believe me.
Glad it has worked for you. I’m Muslim and also feeling the same way as OP, but, not sure reading Quran would address the root. Certainly it could help with perspective if that’s what I may be missing, but, I imagine it’s more than that.
I feel you - I feel almost like I'm whining given I am privileged and "in a good spot" but I'm genuinely unhappy and tired of trying to stick it out
you’re not alone. i feel the same way - i know that i don’t like consulting so i’ve been trying to find a new job but nothing really seems that exciting to me. i feel like work takes up so much of my time and brain that i can’t even keep up with my personal life, much less search for a new job on top of that
