PwC What’s the better offer? I’m currently an associate at Mercer in Seattle making 115k with a 10% target, but considering an offer in NYC at PWC as senior associate at 140k with a 15%ish target. Also been at current company for only 9 months. Is it worth it to make that transition so early?

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

I actually feel like I'm paid too much (not that I'm complaining). I see how hard my parents work for <$50k and don't think I deserve to making 4x what they do. Maybe 2.5x for the stress, responsibility, and extra hours.
So I guess I'm not really motivated either way to work harder ..
C1 I’m in the same boat. I already make 65% of what my dad makes and more than my mom makes so I just feel lucky. They both work tons of hours and very hard so I feel fortunate.
