Is Nagarro good to join? I have a fully remote opportunity which I'm pretty sure I can crack. Is the pay and benefits good at Nagarro? Do they provide laptop and test devices or will I have to work on my laptop? Do they give medical insurance etc? What if the project gets over. I have learned to never rely on an employer to act in my best interest. I always keep my resume polished, I always take interviews that I’m invited to, I regularly apply to interesting jobs to keep abreast of my options.
I’m not looking to leave but I’m always trying to be ready to if I need to be. In the meantime, I do my best to make myself valuable to the company. I’d like to stay but if the balance ever shifts and they don’t want me around, I’ll be positioned to land on my feet.

Was the RE group hit hard by the layoffs? Glad I dodged that bullet when lateraling
If your more valuable then all other employees you should be doing your own thing anyway.
If it’s truly that terrifying and worrisome to you, then do something about it. Set yourself up in a situation where no one has this type of power of you.
Just accept it. Do what you can but recognize that it happens. In general law firms are much better about it than banks.
