Anyone else’s pooch freak out when they hear a teams call starts? We’ve been working with a trainer and having her practice “place” in my office while I work and she for some reason wants to panic when she hears it. She doesn’t react like that for anything else and it’s relatively new…no negative association that I know of. Something with the tone maybe?

What can a junior associate do about a mid-level that constantly asks questions about things they were cc’d on, sends dozens of piecemeal emails and is generally just super high strung and needs everything right away?? No other mid-levels I’ve worked with act this way and this individual I’m working with is driving me insane and I’ve spent countless hours attaching emails and saying “as explained in the attached email…”

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.

I’ll be asking my last job for a letter of recommendation but I’m not sure who to ask. My boss, who is lovely and would write an amazing LOR. Or my boss's boss who would put minimal effort in but it would have more weight.

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again. Hi All, I have an urgent query regarding TCS BGC process. My issue is that I have worked in X, Y and Z companies.
In X company I worked for 26months but my pf account is there for last 13months, before that my salary was very low so sometimes I got salary in hand or in pay cheque. I do have salary account statement for most of the months except 3-4 months in between my tenure. Will I face any issue for this?
