Anyone ever get a post-nup? We were going to prenup but honestly just got so caught up with wedding planning we never went through with it.

It’s been 3 years since I (27F) moved to Seattle and still don’t have a solid social circle. Not necessarily a big group… I’m talking 3-4 friends who are easy going and not flakey/ hard to make plans with.

Idk if it’s due to Covid, Seattle freeze, a combination of the two or other factors. Any transplants out there who are NOT the outdoorsy type and feel the same? And if so, how did you get past it?

I been thinking about buying a 3bed and 3bath house or a condo. I haven’t had much luck in finding one so I started thinking about 4 bed and 3bath. Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

I work in Florida where the Parental Rights law concerning gender theory and sexuality in k-3 is currently being labeled the "Don't Say Gay Bill". I find it crazy that so many of my liberal coworkers, even in the social studies department haven't even read the bill and are just buying the low wholesale. So my fiancé and I are having a microwedding in Rocky Mountain National Park next year, and we’re working with an elopement planner.
She sent over a sample ceremony (intro, sweet poems + passages to be read, and example vows), and we read through it last night. I was reading it out loud while my fiancé made dinner, and it just hit me that this is really happening. Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years.
