Anyone from EY resign recently? What is the unused vacation pay out policy? Is there a cap at 40 hrs?

Are you spending time with family this month or next? My parents are still really worried about Covid since I work in the hospital so it looks like I may be spending the holiday season alone. I understand where they're coming from, but I'm not really sure what to do with myself next week or at Christmas. Tips? Should I try to find a remote pharm manager position?

Fellow expats, how do you handle the holiday season in Singapore? There's no way I can go all the way back to the States for Christmas, and I'm already feeling the pangs of homesickness creeping in.

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?

Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. I have an offer for a company abroad. Originally they wanted me to fly out and start the day after Thanksgiving (not celebrated in their country), but because of the holidays I suggested starting in either December or January with the ability to take some holiday days in December to fly back home for Christmas. They then proposed starting out remotely “as soon as possible” in the US as a contractor and then moving abroad to start full time abroad. (Cont)

I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
