Oracle has multiple business units and each unit is very different to each other .. which BU or technology and whatv is the role you interviewing for?
Work-life balance is generally quite good at Oracle. Professional growth and learning opportunities are good too, but in general Oracle scores somewhat low when it comes to paying good money, and even poorer when it comes to raises/increments. However all these things can vary quite a bit between various LOBs a lot as PM1 says above.
I've heard similar things - but it varies wildly from unit to unit, so having more context can help
Think this mainly depends on department/business unit. Overall I've seen poeple getting hired and making twice as much as where they came from. Think growth opps are plentiful
It really depends on your specific unit/team/manager. Overall, I've heard good things about the culture at Oracle. The pay, not so much.
