Honestly looking for an exit into some intesesting product related work (potentially in big tech) but wondering how to reframe my exp & upskill myself in Prod space.

I am an Account Executive and work in the programmatic team as part of a wider agency, but I’m not sure this is where I want to be. I want something more collaborative, creative, and less to do with numbers and budgets.

Those who do financial modeling at work: for case study in interviews, is it bad practice to submit a model based on a premade template, assuming that I understand all formulas and incorporate my own reasonable assumptions? For reference, I don’t work with fundamental modeling (quant background) so I needed to get a template to teach myself. TIA

I'm in a new role, and working with data on a scale I haven't seen before (petabytes). When you are designing complex logic at this scale, what is your approach for load testing? I've been working with a tiny subset of data, but now I have a couple ideas I want to test and compare on a larger scale, but the scale of this data is honestly overwhelming to me.

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

My anxiety is through the roof I’ve never wanted a job so bad before that I’ve interviewed for. I had an excellent interview with my potential manager. She said out of all the applicants I stood out the most and she loved my resume/conversation , They are moving to meet the team on Wednesday. Got a job offer with a lower base salary but a guaranteed bonus structure that puts me ahead of my current pay at the end of each year. Has anyone moved to a position with a compensation structure like this? Was it hard to adjust when it came to your monthly finances?

The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO.
